well, I've been working at my new job for a while now and have been volunteering with the AnimeBanzi Convention here in Utah. I help by working the booth selling AnimeBanzai merchandise. I know no one follows me so I won't ask to stop by and say hi... kinda barking in the dark here. I have been working hard on getting better with 3D modeling, became professionally Certified in 3ds Max! (models to motion) and AutoCAD. Purchased a copy of Manga Studio EX 4.0! yay! it's cool. learned 3D Printing! that's cool... planning on a few cosplay designs,... a homebrew pachinko machine. And.... I have been doing some work on my web comic! not much and nothing worth posting but it's progress. I've been using Celtx to write the script and keep track of story ideas and concepts. I have some sets designed or at least laid out, in 3d! with the Manga Studio EX I can import the sets and use them in the comic layout saving time and well,.. I kinda suck as an artist so,... yeah... it's taken me some time to accept the fact that I suck but,... well... yeah... I don't have the skills to be a paid for my work,... so I'll cheat and make my comic in 3d. so * raspberry*
I've got'n good at that at least. and no,.. most of the stuff I do isn't publishable,... just like my last job as a packaging designer... the bane of industrial design I guess... although,... I might be able to show off some designs I've done for AnimeBanzai. I'll check,... don't want to let loose the surprises if they like my design ideas for merchandise. I guess I can post the key chain idea I had though they may still use it... who knows,... it's kind of a black hole in working with the team at times. I show my ideas and get a lot of oooh's and aaaah's with no funding to throw at the idea. alas,... the bane of industrial design...
